About Heritage
Heritage Women's Resource Center, Inc. has been serving Upson, Pike, Spaulding, Crawford, Merriweather, Lamar, Talbot, and Taylor counties for over 20 years. It was established in 1993 as a place for women to come for answers to tough pregnancy questions. To reach an evolving community, Heritage women's Resource Center has changed its name twice and responded to shifting needs by developing various programs. Currently, Heritage Women's Resource Center provides pregnancy tests, access to Before You Decide education, decision coaching, adoption education & referrals, and parenting education & resources. Women facing unplanned or unwanted pregnancies have difficult decisions to make. At HWRC, we want to empower them to make informed choices and encourage them to make life-affirming decisions.
